Marcus type MTS is an open type industrial control transformer with its copper coils and silicon laminations protected by a tough, poly-carbonate "tortoise shell". This durable capsule shields the element from both mechanical and enviornmental hazards, and provides an extremely attractive "black tie" appearance that complements the most carefully designed professional installation or panel.
Type MTS open type industrial control transformers, when used with optional finger-safe covers (Type 1 or Type 3) are CE-compliant, and are lighter and more compact than other similar products on the market. They are solidly constructed with molded terminal blocks, supplied with slotted combination screw terminals, separated by isolation barriers for additional safety, and allow for easily installed fusing.
