TYPE MDCR - CHOKES/INDUCTORS

Marcus custom designs chokes for a variety of OEM applications. Depending on the specific requirements and allowable tolerances for maximum DC current resistance, inductance and voltage rating, we can supply chokes with voltage regulation superior to available filter capacitors.

Our chokes are built with the highest quality insulation materials to resist any potential breakdown between the coil and the frame. The coils are wound with 100% copper magnet wire and insulated with high temperature enamel. We have 2 insulation classes available, 80^oC or 115^oC rise, depending on the amperage rating required. The copper terminals are solidly fixed to a fiberglass strip to resist twisting or breaking during installation.
